Inpatient Treatment
The treatment team, in collaboration with the individual, works to implement the treatment and discharge plan following a comprehensive evaluation.
Addiction is a complex disease, therefore treatment must be customized to each individual's needs and circumstances. While designing a plan for recovery, the following components are addressed with each patient:
- An Understanding of the Disease of Chemical Dependency
- The 12 Steps - A Foundation for Recovery
- An Understanding of the Fear, Isolation, Guilt, and Shame associated with addiction
- The need for a Sober Support System
- Awareness of the Impact of Chemical Dependency on the family including family education and brief family therapy
- Self Awareness to Increase Ability to become a more productive member of society and the workforce
- A Relapse Prevention Plan
- A Plan of Continued Recovery including identifying a home AA/NA Meeting and obtaining a Sponsor before Discharge
- A Weekly Alumni Meeting
- Appointments with appropriate Doctors and/or Therapists
