Aftercare

Sobriety doesn’t end once a patient is discharged. In fact, it’s just the beginning. In order to maintain sobriety, new behaviors, structure and a strong support system must be established.

Recognizing the first year of sobriety poses the most risk, Texas Star’s After Care/Prevention Program offers continuous support and assistance to its alumni.  All alumni are encouraged to participate in this exclusive and beneficial meeting for as long as they desire.

Texas Star‘s weekly alumni meetings are an invaluable resource for those beginning the road to recovery. Consisting of fellow alumni, after-care meetings provide essential support through the experience, strength and hope of their peers.

Texas Star Recovery hosts annual alumni functions celebrating sobriety and connecting with others in recovery.
