Family Involvement

Family involvement and support is essential for a successful road to recovery. However, the person struggling with addiction is rarely the only one affected.

Addiction is considered a “family disease” and Texas Star offers assistance to family members of someone enrolled in either the inpatient or outpatient program. Family services include meeting with a therapist, weekly family support groups and an educational component.
